DKonect Vendor Terms and Conditions


    General

    1. Registering at DKonnect doesn’t automatically qualify for listing on the Digipol website.
    2. Companies registering at DKonnect should be qualified through our vetting process for delivering security products to Law Enforcement Agencies and Defense forces.
    3. The decision to accept any company to be listed on DKonect portal rests with the management of Dkonect.
    4. So the vendors who are publishing their products at DKonect should ensure that the products are relevant to security agencies like Police and Defense forces.

  • 1. Account Terms

    1. To access and use the Services, you must register for a DKonect account. To complete your Account registration, you must provide us with your full legal business name, business address, phone number, a valid email address, and any other information indicated as required. We may reject your application for an Account, or cancel an existing Account, for any reason, at our sole discretion.
    2. You confirm that you are receiving any Services provided by DKonect for the purposes of carrying on a business activity and not for any personal, household or family purpose.
    3. You acknowledge that DKonect will use the email address you provide on opening an Account or as updated by you from time to time as the primary method for communication with you (“Primary Email Address”). You must monitor the Primary Email Address you provide to DKonect and your Primary Email Address must be capable of both sending and receiving messages. Your email communications with DKonect can only be authenticated if they come from your Primary Email Address.
    4. You are responsible for keeping your password secure. DKonect cannot and will not be liable for any loss or damage from your failure to maintain the security of your Account and password.
    5. You agree not to access the Services or monitor any material or information from the Services using any robot, spider, scraper, or other automated means.
    6. You can publish your product information and update or edit the information published time to time.
    7. Vendor is solely responsible for the information published and DKonect will not vouch for the information published by the product vendors.

  • 2. Account Activation

    1. The person signing up for the Service by opening an Account will be the contracting party (“Vendor”) for the purposes of our Terms of Service and will be the person who is authorized to use any corresponding Account we may provide to the Vendor in connection with the Service. You are responsible for ensuring that the name of the Vendor (including the legal name of the company, if applicable) is clearly visible on the Vendor’s website.
    2. If you are signing up for the Services on behalf of your employer, your employer will be the Company Owner. If you are signing up for the Services on behalf of your employer, then you must use your employer-issued email address and you represent and warrant that you have the authority to bind your employer to our Terms of Service.
    3. You can create one or more staff accounts (“Staff Accounts”) allowing other people to access the Account. Each Staff Account must include a full legal name and a valid company’s email account.
    4. The Vendor is responsible for: (a) ensuring it’s employees, agents and subcontractors, including via Staff Accounts, comply with these Terms of Service; and (b) any breach of these Terms of Service by the Vendor’s employees, agents or subcontractors. The Vendor acknowledges and agrees that he will be responsible for the performance of all of its obligations under the Agreement, regardless of whether it sublicenses or subcontracts any such obligations to any third party, including but not limited to any affiliates or subsidiaries of Vendor.

  • 3. Services

    1. The Vendor’s published product data will be made available for Security agencies through their official login.
    2. The dialog for interacting with security agencies is only through the Email or phone number published against each vendor’s product and Digipol or DKonect will not be a part of the communication nor transaction.

  • 4. Legalities

    1. Each party covenants, warrants and represents that it shall comply with all laws and regulations applicable to this Agreement and the performance of its obligations, and that it shall exercise due care and act in good faith at all times in the performance of its obligations hereunder.
    2. Vendor shall indemnify and hold harmless DKonect, its related entities, partners, agents, officers, directors, employees, attorneys, heirs, successors, and assigns from and against any and all claims, losses, damages, judgments, settlements, costs and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees and expenses), and liabilities of every kind incurred as a result of: (i) Any act or omission by Vendor or its officers, directors, employees, or agents; (ii) Any use of Vendor’s name, logo, Web site, or other information, products, or services provided by Vendor; and/or (iii) The inaccuracy or breach of any of the covenants, representations and warranties made by Vendor in this Agreement.
